I'm Gracie, an eighteen year old student currently studying at Manchester Metropolitan University, enrolled on the UAL Art and Design Foundation Diploma! I have also completed Textiles Alevel and Art Alevel.

I am an aspiring artist who works mainly with acrylic paint on canvas, and intaglio printing into silver card.

I am fascinated by the things people often overlook. This interest led to my Entomology Collection, in which I hope to show you the beauty in insects through emphasising their iridescent colour, fine hairs, interesting surface textures and patterns.

Colour is a huge part of my artwork, whether its an abundance of colour or an absence of it; viivid or dull, even realistic or abstract to the subject, I hold a lot of focus and meaning around my use of colour.

Something else about me is that I am dyslexic. This aspect about myself is at the core of my creativity, and therefore creating and sharing my artwork is by far my favourite form of expression.
