Entomology Collection

This set of paintings was inspired by my trips to Liverpool Museum's Entomology department. I wanted to reallt encapsulate the beauty in insects that is often overlooked. im facinated by the surface textures, patterns and colours found within insects and tried to emphesise these elements using Gesso, Acrylic, Retarder and Water Soluble Crayon.
