"Unremarkable Spaces"

My project "Unremarkable Spaces", centres around the everyday, mundane spaces which go unnoticed. I wanted to draw attention to areas I often overlook, such as my bedroom, which has become a space heavily integrated into my everyday life. I began working with cyanotype, a natural way to create focal points by removing the artists hand. I enjoyed this process and the unpredictability it created. I then experimented with layering over these cyanotypes, emphasising areas of my room id never put thought into before. I worked with, acrylic, crayon, photometer and embroidery.
